Ever feel like life has become way too complicated? Do you find yourself constantly overwhelmed, trying to balance the demands of work, family, and personal time, but still never managing to catch up? Anxiety and stress seem to be at an all-time high. The solution, as Lisa Rooney suggests, isn’t just about willpower. So what’s the real answer to managing stress and anxiety in today’s world? And how do you navigate life’s complexities while keeping calm?

These were just some of the questions addressed when Lisa Rooney, founder of Vibrant Life Integrated Coaching, sat down with Robert Scott Bell to discuss anxiety, stress, and how her holistic approach can help people transform their lives. In a conversation filled with practical advice and inspiring anecdotes, Lisa shared her personal journey, insights on stress management, and the tools she uses to help her clients.

Addressing Both Immediate Stressors and Underlying Causes

Lisa Rooney holds a straightforward belief that resonates with many of us struggling with anxiety and overwhelm. "People often try to combat these challenges solely through willpower," she explains. But it turns out that willpower alone is not enough. According to Lisa, “The solution lies in addressing both the immediate stressors and the underlying issues that are perpetuating the state of distress.”

“Our lives have grown excessively complex, making it incredibly tough to navigate and find avenues for improvement,” she said during the interview. And that’s the crux of the issue: the complications and endless demands that modern life brings with it. These demands contribute directly to the stress and anxiety that so many of us feel on a daily basis.

Lisa offers more than just theory—she provides practical solutions through her programs, which are specifically designed to manage and alleviate stress. She emphasizes that it’s important to address both the surface-level stress and the deeper issues that fuel anxiety. “When people manage to identify their stress triggers and dig deep into the issues fueling them, they begin to find more calm, peace, and even joy in their lives.”

Homeopathy: More Than Just a Quick Fix

As the conversation progressed, Robert and Lisa delved into the world of homeopathy, a subject that both are passionate about. Lisa’s approach to stress management includes an integration of homeopathy into her coaching practice. For her, homeopathic remedies aren’t just a quick fix but tools that can create long-lasting change in her clients’ lives.

One particularly enlightening moment came when Lisa shared the story of how she treated her son’s dental issues with homeopathy instead of conventional fluoride treatments. “I gave my son calcflor, calc phos, and silica every day for six months until his next checkup,” she recalled. When they returned to the dentist, not only were the cavities gone, but her son hasn’t had any cavities since.

This story highlights the power of homeopathic remedies to stimulate healing in the body. “These cell salts are critical for dental health,” Lisa explained, emphasizing how much better this method is than the allopathic approach of fluoride, which can have harmful effects. “In its allopathic form, fluoride can be toxic, reducing IQ in children,” Robert added. But, when delivered in homeopathic preparation, it supports rather than harms the body.

Addressing the Root of Anxiety with Homeopathy

One of the standout moments of the interview came when Lisa introduced the homeopathic remedy Arsenicum, which she frequently uses for clients dealing with anxiety and stress. “Arsenicum is all about security versus insecurity,” Lisa explained. “It’s a very fear-based remedy. People who need this remedy are often afraid of illness, poverty, being alone, or even germs and contagions.”

“What’s fascinating,” Robert chimed in, “is how many emotional issues can manifest physically, and Arsenicum really addresses that connection.” The remedy, which Lisa described as having a broad scope of uses, is particularly effective for individuals experiencing underlying anxiety, especially when that anxiety stems from a fear of losing control or fear of the unknown.

Lisa shared a powerful case study from her practice. A 17-year-old client came to her suffering from two eating disorder diagnoses and two anxiety diagnoses. After years of working with doctors, psychiatrists, and nutritionists, nothing seemed to be changing for the girl. Lisa stepped in and prescribed her Ignatia and Arsenicum, starting with a daily dose. Within six months, the girl was undiagnosable and had a newfound sense of freedom from her symptoms.

Anxiety, Fear, and the Flu Season

During the interview, Lisa and Robert also discussed how seasonal shifts—such as the transition into fall and winter—impact mental and emotional health. Many people experience heightened anxiety during these times, often exacerbated by societal triggers like the start of flu season. “People can almost convince themselves they’re going to get sick just because it’s flu season,” Robert pointed out, emphasizing the psychological impact of such beliefs.

Lisa agreed, sharing how she addresses the fears of illness that many of her clients face, particularly during flu season. She uses Arsenicum to help alleviate the anxiety and fear associated with illness, germs, and contagions, noting how these fears often contribute to physical symptoms in her clients.

Lisa also emphasized that Arsenicum isn’t just for short-term relief. “This remedy is for people who experience low-level, underlying anxiety all the time,” she said. “They may not always express it openly, but it’s always there, just beneath the surface.”

Customizing the Approach for Every Client

As with most holistic approaches, there is no one-size-fits-all remedy, and Lisa makes this clear in her practice. “Every client is different,” she explained. “Everyone has a unique set of challenges, traumas, and stressors, and my job is to figure out what combination of remedies and coaching techniques will work best for them.”

For some clients, homeopathic remedies like Ignatia and Arsenicum are enough to create change. For others, Lisa incorporates additional coaching and healing modalities to help address deeper emotional and mental blocks. Her approach is highly customized, making sure to address not just the physical symptoms but also the underlying emotional and spiritual components.

“It’s not just about treating the body—it’s about addressing the mind and the soul too,” she said. “When people start to process their emotions and trauma, they begin to feel more at peace.”

Robert echoed these sentiments, pointing out that healing isn’t always linear. “There are layers of toxicity in our lives—both physical and emotional—that need to be peeled back over time. It’s not always a straight path to recovery, but with the right guidance, people can find their way.”

The Power of Coaching Combined with Homeopathy

Lisa Rooney’s approach to coaching, combined with homeopathy, offers clients a holistic and powerful way to address the challenges they face. “People come to me for help with anxiety, stress, and trauma,” Lisa shared. “But the work we do together goes far beyond that. My goal is to help them achieve long-lasting peace and transformation in every area of their lives.”

And while homeopathy may be one part of the puzzle, Lisa also places a heavy emphasis on personal coaching and emotional healing. “I work with clients to uncover their limiting beliefs, process their emotional traumas, and develop healthier ways of thinking,” she said. By addressing the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—Lisa helps her clients achieve more than just a temporary fix.

Moving Toward a Vibrant Life

As the interview wrapped up, Robert praised Lisa’s work and encouraged listeners to explore her coaching services. “If you’re struggling with anxiety, overwhelm, or stress, don’t try to handle it all on your own,” Robert said. “Lisa’s approach really gets to the root of the problem and offers tools that will help you find lasting peace.”
